Maybe the doors can be fixed back to original.

Other than the doors, I did it.

Not my taste but looks like it’s been cared for. Could be worse, it could be sitting in junkyard.

Owned it 15 years, I guess that fits. The Lambo door fad was kind of waning by 2005, but you still saw them at just about every tuner car show.

Is it strange that I don’t hate it? I wouldn’t own it, but I appreciate the effort. The pics suck, but if it was done with any skill, it will certainly appeal to somebody.

The pictures do bring up an interesting question. Since the rear seats are technically outside of the vehicle. Could you drink booze back there legally?

(I actually have no problem with ketchup on various foods, but I know some people feel differently)

Probably varies by state, but I’d assume in most places you’d still run afoul of open container laws at least.

Other than the doors and hood scoops I like it. Still CP though.

It actually looks in pretty good condition, and it’s not really overdone except for the doors.

Sometimes these doors also open normally if that’s the case I’d drive it

Ignoring the style aspect of those doors, I gotta admit I’ve become genuinely curious as to how they are to live with on a daily driver.

I...I blogged the Brat:

Ha! I love everything about that Brat--except the mats. Straight black would have been better. I always loved the Brat, and didn’t know about the back seat tax dodge. I always wanted to ride back there and pretend I was a tail gunner.

I also totally want to ride in the back. It’s probably as unsafe as it gets, but would having a nice picnic in traffic be rad as hell? Yes.

Speaking of the Brat, t his is a fantastic terrible movie. Saw it in the theater as a kid and loved it.

OMG, you’ve never seen it? Burt Reynolds, Jan Michael Vincent, Sally Field, and even Terry frickin Bradshaw. Reynolds plays Hooper, a washed out Hollywood stuntman, while JMV is the new hot young kid. It’s a real romp, lots of fun. Is it Citizen Kane ? Absolutely not.
